Richmond Old Grandstand

,

Believed to be the world’s oldest surviving stone-built racecourse grandstand, Richmond Old Grandstand has secured funding for its next chapter and Pinnacle Conservation is delighted to have been appointed as the Main Contractor on the works working alongside @insallarch.

The Grade II*-listed grandstand at the Richmond racecourse in North Yorkshire, has secured funding for repairs and consolidation with support from Historic England. Since the last horse race was hosted there in 1891, the grandstand and nearby Zetland Stand have fallen into disrepair.
