New Mouldings at The De Grey Rooms

Our Talented team is working on creating new ceiling mouldings as part of our work on The De Grey Rooms in York.

Plasterboard and Fiberfix were used to create a box for the mould, with a clay bed on the bottom for the original piece to sit on.  Silicone was then mixed with a catalyst and dye and poured over the piece.

The mould was finally greased with tallow, ready for pouring the plaster of Paris to make the new pieces.
