St Cuthbert’s Darlington

Pinnacle is delighted to be appointed as Main Contractor for the “Opening Doors” project at St Cuthbert’s Church, Darlington.

For centuries, St Cuthbert’s has been the town’s “Lady of the North”, but limited facilities and accessibility have restricted its potential. This transformation will reimagine the interior for modern worship, community use, arts, heritage engagement and high‑quality hospitality.

The project will deliver:

• Improved access and a new welcome area

• Essential amenities including WCs and meeting space

• Upgraded heating, lighting and AV

• A new café area

• Flexible seating to support worship, concerts, conferences and events

• Relocation of the font and restoration of the historic organ
