New Project – Fydell House
Pinnacle are delighted to have secured the project for the restoration and improvement works at the historic Grade I listed Fydell House in Boston, thanks to the generous support of The National Lottery and Boston Town Board.
The special project will deliver:
• Conservation-led fabric repairs to protect the building’s historic character
• Upgraded heating systems for modern comfort and efficiency
• Enhanced welfare provisions to support inclusivity
• Improved accessibility throughout the site
• Refurbished kitchen facilities to contemporary standards
Built around 1700 for the Jackson family, Fydell House stands as a remarkable piece of Boston’s heritage. Nearly lost to development in 1935, the Vicar of Boston and other advocates launched an appeal, successfully purchasing the property. This effort led to the founding of The Boston Preservation Trust, a limited company dedicated to saving historic buildings in the town and repurposing them for meaningful use.
We’re honoured to contribute to the next chapter of this iconic building’s story.
Stay tuned for the updates on this project.
